Welcome to development updates! Every Tuesday on Intranet Watch we will be revealing all-new developments on the intranet and giving you behind-the-scenes looks at what the intranet development team is working on.

Today's development update is a big one. I am pleased to announce a brand new service on the intranet - we're calling it HOLMES.

Click the banner to view the new site!

HOLMES is not just a fancy acronym; it's also named after the famous detective because it is all about encouraging inquisitiveness, investigation and independent learning. What you will find on HOLMES is a whole host of videos that will help you learn concepts specifically connected to the JRAHS program for each course you study. The site contains videos of educators sourced from a variety of different places on the internet, and soon you will also even find videos produced by JRAHS teachers explaining skills and knowledge related to their subjects.

We currently have 38 videos linked and that number is increasing. Here's a sample:
At the moment, most of the videos are focused on explaining concepts in the preliminary mathematics (2U) course. But more videos are being added and you will hear about them here on Intranet Watch. Do you have a suggestion for a video that should be linked to on the site? Send us an email and let us know!

HOLMES is still in development and far from complete, but we are eager for you to browse and explore and discover what's already there. Comments, thoughts and feedback are most welcome - simply contact us by email and tell us what you think.
